More About Justin
Bachelor of Music, Piano Performance
Hi, my name is Justin! I’m a classically trained pianist with experience teaching jazz, pop, and gospel style as well. I’m passionate about working collaboratively with students to develop learning plans that help them grow effectively and reach their goals.

My Philosophy
● I want to work with you, rather than working at you. Each lesson is a chance to improve your next week’s practice, as I expect you will spend more time at the piano without me than with me.
● In order for someone to truly learn how to play the piano, they have to have a relationship with the piano. Just as friends spend time together to get to know each other, so the student spends time practicing the piano to learn how to play better. My goal is to introduce the two of you and start your conversation.
● I want to help you grow in your love for music, and give you a deeper understanding of what music can be for you. This will be done through building up the fundamentals: technique, reading, and musicality.
